When Karolina and Michael first reached out from Germany, they envisioned an intimate, relaxed gathering by the sea that felt refined yet entirely effortless. As their Athens destination wedding planner, our mission was to bring this vision to life with calm precision. Although this was their first time visiting the region, they knew that a wedding Athens Greece offered the perfect blend of Mediterranean warmth, accessible travel for international guests, and dramatic coastal scenery.
Guided by local expertise, we navigated various Athens wedding venues to curate a dual-location experience: an open-air beachfront ceremony at Varkiza Beach, followed by an exclusive reception at a private estate.

The vision for the ceremony was pure romantic simplicity—standing barefoot in the sand surrounded by 40 of their closest family members and friends. Bespoke Styling & DIY Lab Wedding Details
For Karolina and Michael, intentional design meant choosing visual elements that authentically told their story. The aesthetic palette paired gentle dusty pinks with sandy beige—a color close to the groom's heart. To honor Michael’s personal history of owning an olive grove in the United States, our DIY Lab crafted bespoke Greek wedding decor featuring freshly harvested olive branches, elegantly bridging his past with their new Mediterranean chapter.
These foliage accents adorned the ceremony arch and stretched down the long, family-style dining tables. Transforming a Private Estate for the Reception

We designed the courtyard with long banquet tables lit by overhead festoon lights and architectural LED uplighting to accentuate the villa's stone architecture and olive trees as twilight set in. Guests were greeted with signature Aperol Spritzes and Mojitos at a custom cocktail bar, setting a lively tone for dinner.
As night fell, an artisanal outdoor ice cream station delighted guests, offering a sweet local touch before the dance floor opened. Navigating estate guidelines, acoustic setup, and vendor timelines seamlessly allowed Karolina, Michael, and their loved ones to celebrate under the starry Greek sky until late into the night.
